Punjab Pilot Project Welfare Society (PPPWS) is a private
non-political, non-profitable and non-governmental organization created in
Gujranwala to respond current need for Gujranwala people in order to sustained
and strengthen and promote human right culture, peace building, and good
governance initiatives and tackle humanitarian crisis in urban/rural district.
Punjab Pilot Project Welfare Society (PPPWS) is a organization
working since 1990 in Gujranwala, Punjab, Pakistan. The organization was
registered in 2003 with Social Welfare Department, Government of the Punjab
under Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies and Ordinance, 1961.
PPPWS is managed by independent non-partisan indigenous
professionals whom have been experiencing practically & technically on
various fields of capacity buildings of humanitarian sectors and community
development projects as they have had special trainings (TOTs) to the sectors
of humanitarian interventions, Human rights, Education rights, child protection
and capacity building programs.
Initially PPPWS took intervention in providing educational, health
and sanitation services including awareness creation, advocacy and social
mobilization through community development approaches. The team of the PPPWS is
striving for socio-economic development of Gujranwala region including urban,
rural and slum areas, focusing empowerment of women, youth and children health
and their socio-economic conditions, rights, education, participatory
approaches to development, good governance, advocacy and social mobilization.

Statement
Punjab Pilot Project Welfare Society (PPPWS) intends to cover a
wide spectrum of activities focused to enlarge people’s choices and
participation, by expanding human functioning and capabilities, to lead
desirable living standard and to have access to the resources needed for a
satisfying standard of life and health.
Objectives

Struggle for basic rights i.e. health, Education, water,
sanitation, Hygiene, clean environment for marginalized communities

Struggle to facilitate the disaster affected Communities
·
To work the right base approaches to realize the duties of public
sector
·
To raise the voice for community rights i.e. water sanitation,
workers, children, Juvenile, women and community issues and to approach to
competent authorities for their situation.

Institutional development for their capacity enhancement, need
base, job base and career oriented Trainings
·
To develop linkages employers and employees for the promotion
of livelihood
·
Networking with public sector, civil society organization and
perform as bridge

To work for the promotion of Governance, citizen community boards
and Gender base organizations

To work for the promotion of skill program in youth and women for
Poverty reduction.
